Decked with carrion garlands And adorned with a silver crown Awaits she, clad in nothing but the naked sky The embodied dance of time Deep in the charnel grounds Between phallic towers Of stone and wood Erected in fertile soil Muddy waters on bare breasts And skin covered in the ash of the dead Whatever it is – Tara – you put a spell on me Whatever it is – Tara – I put a spell on you Intoxicate! Fornicate! An antinomian Miscreant, rat-fucked pariah In feverish anticipation Of her who is smeared with blood Of Tara, daughter of the third eye Of Kali Ma! To feast with the jackals Is to free your heart of hate To abuse yourself before your Gods Is to defy shame forever To find purity in the dirt Is to find Tara Ma She can't be tamed, she can't be restrained For shakti is in her and of shakti is she In the end, what is Tara But a tiny dancer in my hand For I am of her and she is in me Words by A.

YAM – in a crescent moon RAM – in a blazing sky HUNG – the urine-filled skull OM – the feces in the East ANG – the semen in the West And BODHICITTA deep in the South Opaque mist And obscure beasts Shrouded in the occult But what lies beneath? Urine, feces, semen and blood Incense, regalia, smoke and mirrors Pitch-black and nebulous white Without a shade of gray Don't you dare look behind the symbols Don't you dare unveil the myth Magic is not Where wisdom ends OM-RAM KAM-HUNG ANG-YAM Magic is Where magic ends credits Words by A.

Hissizleş Yaşamayacaksın, tekrarlayacaksın Adetlerini besle Kulağını ver Çıt çıkarma Gözlerini kapa ve iyi dinle Az bilirim, çok konuşurum Sana kendi göremediğimi göstereceğim Silahsız akıldan ruhsal sefalet Yaşlı fikirler ve bağnaz kalıplar Hissizleş Yaşamayacaksın, tekrarlayacaksın Bul cahillikteki dinginliği Silahsız akıldan ruhsal sefalet Usulca ve nazikçe Ruhunu kirleteceğim Ödemek istemeyeceğin bir bedelde Seni avutacağım Laflarımı yut Geviş getir Senden geriye yalnızca İçi boş bir kabuk kalıncaya dek Sağırdan öğren konuşmayı Körden dinle gördüklerini Çok düşünmezsen Asla canın yanmaz Words by A., translated to Turkish by Egemen Gürgen

Those who have been, their radiance blinds us Through eons of mist their humming flows on Those we have been, their shades are departing The lightless abyss where our figures have gone O woe, the numb nothingness, a thief in the dark Our souls bereft by the void that stares back Who would dare to steer such somber domain The raft we embarked mirrors vastness of black A sea of black Rays of silence – like a master’s scourge Inflicting still terror, to endure law eternal Gates of time sands – ghastly worlds they emerge Our nature depraved, putrid entities nocturnal O woe! The truth is dead, long live the truth In this starless desert, there lies no comfort Your desperate endeavor trails through the lost domains of a dead universe transgressing dimensions beyond And for every haven is a deathly quiet tomb. For those dead cosmic apparitions mock us with illusions of beacons we long for. Every step, every bound, every leap serves us deafening horror and pain, leaving our dead shells behind in cruel awe and wonder There is no comfort Words by N.

Rat Saliva 05:32
Spread-eagled on opium clouds Unhurried, serene and patient Inconspicuous, swift and hidden in the twilight A philosopher of the gutter Two eyes are sparkling through the darkness The king of the stool pigeons takes his throne Free spirits in shackled bodies Addicted to the insane stories Spat forth by this royal rodent A Bengali waiting for the next wave to hit A portrait of the young man as a train wreck Thick walls of haze Fluorescent and radiant in multiple shades of folly Feverish fantasies and tales from the beyond Wrapped up in rat saliva Narkkopolis shakes as you slowly lose your mind Bombay – an upholstery for lost dreams Wrapped up in rat saliva Bombay Rat saliva Narkkopolis Words by A.
6.
You will never see What the antinomian beheld As she danced with the stars On top of the world Where the moon draws her near to her breast And lets her savor eternity Where everything seems as insignificant As your abominal wretched existence Deny what you see You! Deaf to what's screaming right in your face Keyed to memories Incapacitated to act on your own Brought up by the moon Among a pack of sun-worshippers A stargazer, disobedient to the marrow While the sheepdogs steadily savage the sheep Yearning for transcendency Burning bridges and shattering walls A silhouette stands high before the firmament As the flock slowly go blind Garlanded with lies and false promises Seeking comfort in the iterant void You will never see Where she danced With the stars Words by A.

The "multi-faceted, genre-bending, under-the-radar gem" (nocleansinging.com) Vāmācāra is back. And with them, an album that, once again, tries to build a bridge between blastbeats, doom metal, and the psychedelic groove of 70's art rock.

While sticking to the foundations of their previous effort "Mantras for the Manifold", they deliver a somewhat different aural experience this time. While the incorporation of oriental elements was still subtle on their debut EP, you'll find more obvious links this time. "Rat Saliva" is an homage to Jeet Thayil's "Narcopolis" and "Vintage Filth Merchants" features Turkish lyrics. Vāmācāra's A. comments: "We’ve chosen to let Egemen Gürgen transfer the lyrics of 'Vintage Filth Merchants' to Turkish as my first visit of Istanbul during a Balkans tour together with Ctulu and Necrowretch heavily inspired me. The clash of oriental and occidental culture, traditions, and the astounding fact that Turkey has a rich history of 60’s and 70’s psychedelic rock bands convinced me to make use of this oddly beautiful language. Even more so, the message applies a lot to what has become of this once thriving and open part of the world."

As for the rest of the album... go find out yourself!
