A triumphant and plodding mix of Black Metal and Doom mixed with plenty rock and roll elements reminding me of some twisted version of Motorhead but just when those rock and roll riffs grab your attention the sound swiftly changes into a frozen assault backed up by fantastic vocals.

This is gorgeous death/doom which fits the World War I theme perfectly!
The aggressive death metal parts symbolize the crushing brutality of the Great War, while the doom metal passages stand for the quiet desperation of the trenches, there are also some movies sample sprinkled in which makes the album a real experience. Markus Schmidt
